Progress Report April 21, 2007 (Saturday)

The A/C is being installed on Monday. For that purpose, the brackets were put on the walls and holes were drilled for the drain pipe etc. The terrace was completely tiled by the time I arrived this morning. Then, the painters finished the first coat of the paints we chose. The soft apricot/peach for most of the walls downstairs looks really nice. The matching orange-tone (several shades darker than the pastel) is pretty powerful. The photos don't really capture the colors too well. The pastel lilac and vanilla in the upper bedrooms looks not only fresh but refreshing. The interior and exterior final coats will be finished once all that needs to be bolted to the wall and installed is done.

One of the photos below is of a large Mango tree we will look at in front of the balconies.

It was another very hot day today and I am very glad we have such excellent cross-ventilation. With balcony doors or windows open, there is a steady breeze in the house and makes it quite pleasant.
